Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters — everything stays on your device.

Last updated: 17 May 2026

WalletPlus is built to be simple and private. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data. Everything you add to the app stays securely on your device only.

No Personal Data Collection

WalletPlus does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We do not require an account, email, phone number, or any identity details to use the app.

Local-Only Storage

All data — including contacts, lent/borrowed entries, settlements, and schedules — is stored locally on your device. We do not upload your data to any server or cloud service.

App Security & Protection

You can enable app lock (PIN or biometric depending on device support). Your PIN is stored as a SHA-256 hash, never in plain text. This ensures only you can access your stored financial entries.

No Third-Party Usage

WalletPlus does not integrate with analytics, advertising services, or external SDKs. We do not share your information with third parties because we never collect it in the first place.

Permissions We Request

Contacts — only when you tap 'Pick from contacts'; we read the single entry you select and never scan your contact list. Camera & Photos — only when you attach a proof image to a settlement or set a profile avatar. Notifications — to deliver reminders for events you schedule. Biometric / Fingerprint — only if you enable biometric unlock under Security settings.

Backup & Restore

When you tap 'Export', WalletPlus writes a JSON file to a location you choose. That file contains all your data, including settlement attachment images encoded inside it. Once exported, that file is outside WalletPlus's control — you decide where it goes and who has access to it.

Data Deletion (Your Control)

Since all data is stored locally:

  • Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all stored data.
  • You may manually clear the app's storage anytime from your device settings.
  • Deleted transactions remain in Trash within the app until you empty it.

We do not store any backups or copies of your information.

Children's Privacy

WalletPlus is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us in any way, please contact us and we will assist.
